Are you ready for the best combination of Reef & Beachbreak in Europe? Located facing the African coast, Fuerteventura offers the best opportunity to glide over the water in winter at a pleasant 19 degrees. Our accommodation is located in the north in Lajares. Here you can - besides good food, pool and yoga - work on your turns on the camp's own skate spot. Come and surf with students fom all over Switzerland!
Do I have to know someone or can I come alone? Our camps are designed to meet new people. Even if you travel alone, you will make new friends very quickly!
Camplife: We are in a nice accommodation in Lajares. It has several pool areas, a very large skate area with a wave, cozy rooms (2-6 persons), common- and chill areas. There are 20 places in total - so the focus is on a lot of surfing and rather little partying. The camp is solar powered and a lot of attention is paid to recycling. The food is very well balanced, vegetarian friendly and the chefs are real masters of their trade.
Surf: Fuerteventura offers world class surf spots for all levels. The island offers a mix of beach and reef breaks. Reefboots can be a good addition to the packing list. However, the risk of standing in a sea urchin is very low. The water is pleasant even in winter at 19 degrees. Depending on the time of day and conditions, the Line ups are not too crowded. If you do not want to ride a softboard, we recommend that you bring your own board.
Extras: Besides surfing, the (included) program includes activities such as volcano trekking, yoga and (surf) skating. We reccommend you bring your own carver/ yow/ smoothstar .. with you. Renting skates outside the session costs 10 euros per day.
Important: We are on a volcanic island with about 120 000 inhabitants. The public transport network is poor. If you want to be mobile outside the social program and the half day surf trips, you should rent a car from the airport. (Once you have booked you will join a WhatsApp group - you can easily join a group to rent a car). If you are not too advanced in surfing, you can easily do without a rental car. Cabs on the island are very cheap.
